Lifecycle Services
Annually or at the desired frequency, we can review every procedure of your safety program to verify its adequacy with current regulatory requirements and best practices. We can also audit your program every year as mandated by OSHA 1910.147 to ensure that the procedures and the requirements of the LOTO standard are being followed.
Assess
The Jireh Group will conduct a comprehensive on-site audit that identifies incorrect procedures,
hazardous situations, and inconsistencies with your safety program by surveying all production and
manufacturing equipment and the supporting facility systems, including cranes, material handling,
compressors, boilers and furnaces.
We inform customers of hazardous situations that include electrical code violations, proper
configuration of disconnect switches, conductors and fuse types, recommending shutoff devices or
other safety equipment to minimize risk and maximize safety in your workplace.
Design
LOTO Program Designs are compliant with current industry standards and best practices and are
representative of evolving industry safety trends. We also take into account your business
requirements and objectives when developing comprehensive written processes and procedures to
ensure that equipment is in a zero-energy state prior to safely inspecting, maintaining and servicing.
As part of the program design, The Jireh Group provides:
1. Color-coded floor plan based on American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and your corporate standards to identify primary, secondary and stored energy sources
2. LOTO standards document and LOTO reference guide for employee training and communicating with contractors servicing the equipment
The LOTO standard will become a requirement for equipment suppliers to follow when installing new equipment, providing:
1. Consistency and continuity within the plants in energy isolation
2. A standards-based approach that will keep your facilities current and compliant with OSHA
standards.
